Star Rating and Earnings at iWriter

At iWriter, one has to write a few articles to become a standard rated writer. Having five star rating for every article is a good start to become an Elite writer. There are three levels, first is standard, next is Premium and last is Elite.

For now, I am a standard writer at iWriter, need 8 more good ratings to be branded Premium. Being premium or listed in top writer category is beneficial, because requesters choose their request to be visible to top writers only.

A top writer is also paid more when compared to a non rated or lesser rated writer. I am yet to become a Premium writer first, will be posting experiences as and when i write for iWriter.

Initially I had pleasant experience from good requesters, with many of them choosing to rate me a 4 or 5 stars. I was very happy to have found iWriter, and I should say, it almost interferred with my usual writing work. This is evident from the fact that there have not been any updates since a month.

I had read reviews everywhere else, where rejected articles had substandard quality, Considering my writing is not so bad. I did not expect a rejection, when special instructions are clear and easy to follow. It was good initially, when there were many requesters and I chose requester with high approval rate.

Of late, there are not much articles requests of high quality. By high quality, I mean, genuine requesters who do not search silly reasons to reject.

Silly reasons for rejections include, "article needs correction at multiple places and will get rejected by article directory" Not silly isnt it, Well, this article was requested for a website content and not for article directory. So, what am I to understand of it gets rejected on context of not complying with Article directory website rules.

I am right now, very put off by attitude of requesters on iWriter, but its not any fault of iWriter or Brad Callen. It is these unprofessional people who take others time and money for a ride, spoiling the environment.

One such requester laments because there is automatic approval facility that rates writers even though the content may be bad. So he says, top writers need not be top quality writers at all. He says he did not find time to review it before 48 hour time window and hence it got auto approved with five star rating.

For such requesters, first of all, it is not 48 hours but three days(which add up to 72 hours) and the rating displayed on a writer does not take into consideration such automatic reviews. Only requester reviews are used to rate a writer.
