If you ask me, which is the best, I would never choose one :)
It all depends on what kind of leisure one has, which can be used for writing. If one has lots of time and wants to focus writing on, single topic only, then elance would be the better choice, for a writer. At elance, a writer or contractor, has to write the whole project and not just a part of it.
But for writers who get bored of searching and researching the same topic for anything interesting to write, iWriter is the best choice.
Everything depends on one's ability and interest.
I used to write for iWriter, whenever I was bored of writing articles on same topic for the main writer. It was that sometimes, I would need to write 20 to 60 articles on same topic, but the time span would surely be longer, extended over a month if the number of articles was more than 50. My usual speed helped me finish articles, anywhere between 20 to 25 on same topic, each week.
But to break the monotony, I would not mind writing one or two extra articles on different subject, every day. This is how, iWriter came into picture.
At elance, I have just sent my bid proposal, after being invited by the client himself/herself. I am hoping to have good experience with every client, be it on iWriter or on elance. I just need to be careful before I choose a requester at iWriter though.
