Of the 29 reviews I had, 8 requesters quoted the same reason, for rejection, Grammar. Of the others, one requester said acceptable content, but all the rest were full of praises for me. I think I will search for online classes for Grammar and find out my faults. I want to become a premium writer at iWriter, and i need at least three five star reviews for that.
.
I am a premium writer on the site. I did write some scrap metal statues articles, too and he accepted most of them.
ReplyDeleteSome requester are not too friendly in commenting and giving rating, but there is an approval rate under each requester's name now (it's a good improvement of iWriter). But we should not only look at the approval rate, but also the numbers of articles that he/she has received before. It can be 100% approval, but the requester has only reviewed 1 article. Or, it can be 0% only because some (if not many) writers have not yet provided feedback, but the requester has received 50 or more articles.
I think if you review once again your above articles, you will find them not too comfortable to read, especially for marketing purpose. The articles can be grammatically perfect, but I believe that the requester needs something more. I stopped writing for the requester after 2 of my articles were rejected. I think it is normal; let us just improve and write other articles for other requester.
And for your efforts to reach the Premium rate, I hope you can achieve your goal immediately.
Sorry I could not reply ur comment, as their was glitch with blogs, here for sometime.. Thanks, Yes, may be u are right about my article being uncomfortable to read. But nobody is able to become perfect, unless they commit mistakes right.. Thanks a lot, for your advice.
DeleteI have to say, being a professional journalist of some 25 years experience writing for international publications, that your grammar is terrible. I am not at all surprised the articles were rejected. Go to your local college and get some grammar lessons - about two-thirds of the commas are completely unnecessary.
ReplyDeletewell, to the second anonymous reader, who has ridiculed my grammar.. thanks for all the encouraging words.. Well, 25 years in journalism will probably give u this right.. I do not mind, any of it, As I said, I am open to learning. I have learned to imbibe this attitude after some hard lessons.
